1. Awesome Badlands Spawn in Minecraft 1.18.2
Imagine the most colorful place, and then picture the rarest warm area. You’re probably thinking of the Badlands! These are hard to find, so spawning in one makes this seed super special. Plus, the 1.18 update improves how terrain is made, so you get awesome Badlands mountains and hills. There are also some desert hills mixed in, but they’re not too noticeable.
This is also one of the biggest Badlands areas you can find in Minecraft. Near where you start, there’s a Ruined Portal that needs some work to get going. But the fun doesn’t end there! This portal takes you to a Nether spawn where you can find a bastion, a fortress, and a Crimson Forest all close to your portal, within a few blocks’ reach. This seed is definitely one of the best Minecraft 1.18.2 seeds out there.

In the middle of all that, you’ll see a village built on a snowy mountain. It’s spread out over the hills, and even the farmers are trying to grow stuff next to frozen water!
To make things even prettier, there are flowers all around the village. Usually, plains villages, flower fields, and snowy mountains don’t all show up together. But this seed combines them perfectly. There’s even a Ruined Portal nearby if you need another reason to visit.

To add even more bad guys to the mix, there’s a Pillager Outpost behind the village. If you were a villager, this would be your worst nightmare. But as a player, it’s the perfect place to get all the best loot in the Overworld, as long as you’re good at fighting.

It has a shipwreck with chests you can see on a glacier, surrounded by ice spikes and a frozen ocean. But wait, there’s more! There’s a huge cave entrance that turns into an underwater cave as you go deeper.

This next seed gives us an amazing example of what the latest update can do. You start in a large mountain area with all kinds of terrain. There are lush caves, ravines, underwater caves, and more. If you’ve ever wanted to build a snowy kingdom like Elsa from Frozen, this is the perfect seed. You start surrounded by cold areas, including a frozen ocean. There are also a lot of underwater caves if you need resources. To get you started, there’s a snowy taiga forest with basic items.
As a special extra, this seed has a glitched shipwreck near the start. More than half of the ship is stuck under the frozen ocean, covered in ice. Some parts are even glitched into a nearby glacier. You’ll need to break a lot of ice to get all three chests, but the treasure map makes it worth it.

glacier - Biomes: Frozen Ocean, Snowy Taiga, and Snowy Plains
- Glitched Shipwreck Coordinates: X: 287, Y: 63, Z: -173
7. Pillager Outpost in a Hole
Pillager Outposts are dangerous for new players. Pillagers in groups can take down even experts. But what if they’re trapped? This next seed puts a Pillager Outpost in a weird spot: a tiny ravine with almost no way out.
You can attack them with lava, fire, or arrows to easily take over the outpost. The ravine also has cave openings to check out. One of them leads straight to diamonds and Redstone.

Even though mountain getaways in the winter might not be the first thing you think of, the residents of the Woodland Mansion don’t seem to mind. This seed gives us a Woodland Mansion that starts on the side of a snowy mountain. Some snow even gets inside the mansion.
The top of the mansion gets covered in snow, which looks really peaceful. The loot and mobs inside are the same as in a regular mansion, but its high location makes it a challenge.

This mountain range isn’t right at the start, but it’s worth visiting. There’s also a Ruined Portal nearby. If you don’t want to travel that far, there’s the new Grove area near where you start. It’s a small mountain area with snow and snow-based mobs.

10. Biggest Dripstone Cave Visible
Since the Minecraft 1.17 update, developers have been slowly adding dripstone caves with new seeds. These are realistic caves filled with pointed dripstone and similar stuff. The pointed dripstones are supposed to look like stalactites and stalagmites from real caves. If you haven’t found them yet, this Minecraft 1.18.2 seed is all about dripstones.
If you go to a certain spot in this seed, you can see how cool the caves are in Minecraft. There’s one of the biggest dripstone caves you can find. It’s also right on the surface, so you can see how majestic and rare it is. It’s a great seed to understand what Minecraft is becoming.

A few blocks away from the shipwreck is the good stuff. There’s an Ocean Monument next to an underwater ravine. It’s not safe to check it out early on, but once you have the tools and resources, it will give you a big boost.

12. Desert Village with a Floating Ruined Portal
Deserts and Badlands feel similar because of the dead bushes. That’s why the village in this seed fits perfectly between them. You start in one of the biggest Badlands areas you can find. The Desert Village is mostly on the Badlands instead of the desert. It’s a great village to start with, since it has a Weaponsmith.
There’s also a Ruined Portal nearby, but it’s not that great. There’s another, cooler Ruined Portal in this seed. If you go toward the ocean, you’ll find a Ruined Portal floating in the water. Usually, these portals are underwater or on the ground. This floating Ruined Portal is one of the rarest things you can find in Minecraft 1.18.2.

If you’re in Creative mode or know how to teleport, this seed has one of the rarest spots in Minecraft. A few thousand blocks from the start, there’s an ocean filled with ice spikes and glaciers.
Under the water, there are two Ocean Monuments close together. They’re only about 50 blocks apart. One is surrounded by glaciers, and the other is surrounded by Amethyst. 14. Desert Temple with Village and Ruined Portal
When you start, this world looks pretty empty. For a few hundred blocks, there’s only desert or Badlands. But don’t give up. As you explore the desert, you’ll find a Desert Village next to a Desert Temple. Keep in mind that the temple is mostly covered in sand, so it can be hard to see. The village has lots of villagers, including an Ironsmith.
You’ll also find one of the smallest Ruined Portals near the village, mostly covered in sand. But once you dig it out, you’ll see that it’s almost ready to use.

15. Start Next to a Pillager Outpost
Pillager Outposts are dangerous if you find them early in a survival world. But what if you start right next to one? This seed puts you near a Pillager Outpost. Luckily, they can’t see you right away, so you have time to run. But if you’re not careful, you might lose right at the start. The closest village is about 400 blocks away, and there’s another Pillager Outpost in that direction.
The good thing about this seed is the exploring. Near the Pillager Outpost is a beehive and a flower forest. Almost every cave leads to a big dripstone cave. On the other side of the outpost is a snowy mountain surrounded by a flower field. It’s a beautiful spot, but watch out for the cave openings.

If you’re trying to beat Minecraft quickly, there’s a third village with a Ruined Portal. With obsidian from both portals and resources from three villages, you’ll be ready to enter the Nether. Then you just need to find the stronghold. The second Desert Temple is underwater.

This seed starts you in a snowy area. Everywhere you look, there are cold Minecraft areas. But in this cold world, there are two big villages on either side of where you start. One of the villages has an Ironsmith, and the other has a Cartographer.
Once you’ve looted both villages, there’s also a Ruined Portal underwater nearby. It’s not complete, so good luck finding lava in this area. Aside from survival, this seed is great for building a snowy base.

You start next to one of the huts, so the Witch can see you from the window. It’s best to run quickly before she attacks. Once you’re safe, there’s another interesting spot in this seed.
You’ll need a boat to get to a Mushroom Fields island. This island is built on an underwater ravine connected to a big mineshaft. There are also shipwrecks on either side of the island, and one of them has cold ruins around it. Finally, there’s an Ocean Monument a few hundred blocks away.
