The Best Minecraft 1.18.1 Bedrock Seeds
1. Desert Temple Right at Spawn in a Huge Desert
This seed is great if you enjoy deserts. You start on a large desert island — and most of the surrounding islands are desert too. There's a desert temple very close to spawn, though it's mostly buried in the sand, so keep an eye out. After looting it, there's a Ruined Portal nearby with more loot to get you started. Keep exploring and you'll find another desert temple near a small badlands area by the beach.
- Seed Code: -190350975
- Biomes: Desert, Forest, and more
- Desert Temple: X: 0, Y: 70, Z: 28
- Ruined Portal: X: 220, Y: 63, Z: 14
- Beachside Desert Temple: X: -284, Y: 64, Z: -500
2. Lost in the Snowy Woods
This seed drops you right into a cold environment. You start in a huge snow-covered spruce forest, perched on top of a tree, with more snow-covered trees in every direction. Looming next to the forest are massive snowy mountains that show off everything the Caves and Cliffs update added to world generation. One mountain even has a regular waterfall running right beside a frozen one. If the cold gets to be too much, there are large caves nearby to duck into.
- Seed Code: 331124596
- Biomes: Grove, Jagged Peaks, Frozen Peaks
3. Three Jungle Temples Close By
Minecraft 1.18.1 loves trees, and this seed delivers. You start on top of a tree in a large jungle biome and can spot the first jungle temple almost immediately. But keep hopping through the canopy — there are two more jungle temples within reach. All three have loot and traps, so explore carefully. The dense jungle makes it easy for mobs to hide, so this is not a safe starting area.
- Seed Code: 1909697087
- Biomes: Jungle
- First Jungle Temple: X: 40, Y: 79, Z: 136
- Second Jungle Temple: X: -232, Y: 84, Z: 264
- Third Jungle Temple: X: -680, Y: 80, Z: 296
4. Big Swamp with Two Witch Huts
This seed feels more like a classic Minecraft world than something from the 1.18 update — flat terrain, a huge swamp, and some plains areas. There are two witch huts in the swamp, and you can see one from spawn. You start far enough away that the witches won't notice you right away. Before you move in on either hut, check out the Ruined Portal in the swamp for useful loot. After clearing the swamp, there's a jungle biome nearby worth exploring.
- Seed Code: 983781959
- Biomes: Swamp, Plains
- Witch Hut: X: 40, Y: 69, Z: 72
- Second Witch Hut: X: -152, Y: 72, Z: -328
- Ruined Portal: X: 344, Y: 68, Z: 328
5. Massive Badlands Biome
Badlands are colorful, visually striking, and packed with terracotta blocks that are great for building. This seed features wooded badlands alongside the new mountain terrain system, making for impressive views at every turn. There's also a nearby desert area with five desert pyramids to loot.
- Seed Code: -453043319
- Biomes: Badlands, Wooded Badlands, Desert
6. Surrounded by Ice and Snow
Depending on how much you like cold biomes, this seed will either be a dream or a nightmare. The snowy mountain views are beautiful, but resources are scarce and survival is tough from the start. Push through the mountains to find a snowy village — a few Ruined Portals nearby will help point you in the right direction. When things get tight, the new Minecraft 1.18.1 cave generation gives you plenty of underground options.
- Seed Code: -2129398464
- Biomes: Grove, Snowy Slopes, Frozen Ocean
- Snowy Village: X: 774, Y: 82, Z: -888
7. Desert Temple, Jungle Temple, Pillager Outpost, and Village All Near Spawn
This seed starts you with a desert on one side and a jungle on the other, each with a temple about the same distance from spawn. After looting both, head to the desert village visible from the desert temple. Next to the village is a Pillager Outpost, separated only by a river — expect a fight if you linger. From there, you can explore a second desert temple, or head to a lake with a Ruined Portal that leads to another jungle temple on the far side. One of the best loot-stacked seeds for starting a survival world.
- Seed Code: -1739171260
- Biomes: Desert, Jungle
- Desert Village: X: 280, Y: 78, Z: 168
- Desert Temple: X: 120, Y: 80, Z: 88
- Jungle Temple: X: 184, Y: 82, Z: -152
- Second Jungle Temple: X: 808, Y: 82, Z: 56
- Second Desert Temple: X: 216, Y: 85, Z: 536
8. Jungle Temple Inside a Desert Village
This seed is unusual from the start — you're in a large mountainous badlands and wooded badlands area that looks like a scene from a Western film. Beyond the mountains is a small desert area with a village, and sitting right inside that village is a jungle temple. On one side you have towering badlands mountains; on the other, an ocean and a jungle island. It's a rare combination and a visually striking seed.
- Seed Code: -612896967
- Biomes: Eroded Badlands, Wooded Badlands
- Village with Jungle Temple: X: 680, Y: 68, Z: 264
9. Seven Ocean Monuments Close Together
This seed takes courage. You start in a forest with enough basic resources to get set up. Head to the ocean and you'll find seven Ocean Monuments clustered close together — an unusual and challenging setup. Taking them on early is a bad idea, but once you're geared up, the loot is worth it. Just make sure to offload your items after clearing each one.
- Seed Code: 1152091468
- Biomes: Forest, River
- Nearest Ocean Monument: X: -1352, Y: 50, Z: -408
- Nearest Village: X: -184, Y: 72, Z: -904
10. Village with Outpost and Village with Desert Temple
You start in a flat desert world. Close to spawn is a desert village sitting right next to a Pillager Outpost with only a river separating them. The Pillagers won't attack immediately, but they will if you stay too long. If that feels like too much trouble, keep moving — there's another village a short distance away with a desert temple built directly into it. Part of the temple even extends inside one of the villager's houses. Two very different villages, each with their own challenges and rewards.
- Seed Code: 1072622191
- Biomes: Desert
- Village Near Outpost: X: 312, Y: 72, Z: 168
- Village with Temple: X: 824, Y: 69, Z: 264
11. Enormous Mushroom Island
Mushroom field biomes are the safest places in Minecraft — no hostile mobs spawn there at night, and if it's surrounded by water, nothing can wander in either. Seeds with large mushroom islands are genuinely rare, and this one has one of the biggest you'll find. It's not at spawn though. You'll need to swim out from the desert spawn point to reach it, but the effort is well worth it.
- Seed Code: 1948144065
- Biomes: Desert
- Mushroom Island: X: 144, Y: 84, Z: -369
12. Speedrun-Friendly Seed with Stronghold Near Spawn
This seed is set up well for a speedrun. You start in a medium-sized desert village with enough resources to get going quickly. A Ruined Portal nearby can take you straight to the Nether, where a Nether Fortress spawns close to your entry point. Once you return, push through the desert past a Pillager Outpost and on to a large village with a stronghold underneath it. The End Portal has no Eyes of Ender pre-placed, so prepare well in the Nether before heading back to finish the game.
- Seed Code: 1250487690
- Biomes: Ocean, Desert
- Village with Stronghold: X: -988, Y: 72, Z: 724
- Nearby Desert Temple: X: -792, Y: 75, Z: 808
13. Entrance to Massive Dripstone Caves
This one is for cave explorers. You start in a regular forest, but there's a small cave opening very close to spawn. Step inside and you'll find one of the largest dripstone caves in these seeds, complete with ore deposits — including diamonds — and massive water pools that lead to underwater cave sections with glow squids. The mob count is high, so go prepared. Bring a Potion of Night Vision or plenty of torches before diving in.
- Seed Code: -582063378
- Biomes: Forest
- Cave Opening: X: -4, Y: 64, Z: 33
14. Open Lush Cave in Snowy Mountains
This seed starts you in a plains biome with basic resources nearby. The real highlight is a few hundred blocks away: a massive snowy mountain with a visible cave opening that leads into a beautiful lush cave. The lush cave blends naturally with the forest outside, and there's even a tree growing inside the cave itself — a stunning visual worth the journey.
- Seed Code: -98259016
- Biomes: Plains
- Cave Opening: X: 1857, Y: 84, Z: -520
15. Hidden Forest Valley Surrounded by Mountains
You start in a grove surrounded by snowy mountains. Resources are limited at first, so lean on the cave system to get started. The real destination is a small forest area completely enclosed by tall snowy peaks — it feels like a hidden mountain valley, peaceful and strikingly beautiful. It's the most scenic seed on this list.
- Seed Code: -167585429
- Biomes: Grove
- Valley Coordinates: X: 3110, Y: 147, Z: 1500
16. Hidden Snowy Village with Four Blacksmiths
This seed requires a sharp eye. Everything around spawn is white snow, and the village blends right into the landscape. But it's worth finding — it's a large snowy village with four blacksmiths, giving you a strong head start on iron tools and gear. Easy to miss, but one of the best early-game setups on this list.
- Seed Code: 1888279058
- Biomes: Grove
- Village: X: 113, Y: 108, Z: 43
17. Tallest Woodland Mansion in the Game
This seed features what may be the tallest Woodland Mansion you'll find — the roof reaches all the way up to Y: 244. Surviving the loot run will be an adventure in itself. There's also a standard-sized mansion right near spawn if you want a warm-up before tackling the tall one.
- Seed Code: 633155865
- Biomes: Plains
- Tallest Mansion: X: 543, Y: 213, Z: 367
18. Survival Island with a Village Next Door
Survival island seeds are hard to find in 1.18, which makes this one a rare find. You start on a plains island with one tree and nothing else. Looks rough — until you spot the second island right next to it. That island has a large village with two armorers and a cleric, giving you access to most of the gear you need to get started. Once you're set, defeat the iron golem for extra iron, craft a boat, and head out to explore.
- Seed Code: 68
- Biomes: Plains
19. Broken End Portal Inside a Stronghold
End Portals are your gateway to the Ender Dragon — the final boss. But in this seed, the portal you find is broken. Half of it is taken over by the stronghold floor, making it impossible to complete. You'll have to search for another portal, which likely means a long journey. It's a fascinating and frustrating seed worth seeing for yourself.
- Seed Code: -499732733
- Biomes: Forest
- Broken End Portal: X: -1444, Y: 18, Z: 1206
20. The Most Dangerous Spawn in Minecraft
Mojang promised players wouldn't spawn directly in lava — but they didn't say anything about spawning in water next to lava. This seed drops you in water that pushes you straight toward a lava pit if you don't move immediately. Survive the waterfall and you'll find yourself at the bottom of a lava-filled cave surrounded by mobs with no wood to craft tools. There's no mineshaft nearby to help either. This one is strictly for experienced players looking for a serious challenge.
- Seed Code: 1870652620
- Biomes: Desert
