Some maps have cool buildings and others have Cities. This map is just a giant grid of blocks. There are even some chests with items that you can't get in survival mode. You are able to find an end portal on this map which allows you to beat the game, but this portal doesn't appear on custom maps often.
Why should you play in a world of squares? Each block in mega sky grid is the size of a chunk (16 regular blocks). If you haven't recognized and appreciated the game's textures before, this map is a great way to experience them. The downside is you have to complete the parkour to move between each giant block. This can be difficult, so it's suggested that you first start on parkour maps to improve before playing on Mega Sky Grid.

To even the playing field, the map has two custom shops where you can buy rare items. Even with the rare items, living won't be easy. The concept is close to skyblock, but there are wooden structures and a lot of water that makes it unique. If you want to try it out, make sure you think before placing lava.

However, the maze only opens at night when hostile moms appear. You have to return to the stone area and spend time in the maze each night figuring out the world to eventually complete it. Almost all the in-game music, animations, textures, and fonts are switched out on this map. Mobs like villagers (with specific jobs) act and look different.
